Cataract day surgery is available
If you feel that you have recently developed nearsightedness, it may be a sign of cataracts!
Cataracts can be caused by many things, including diabetes and eye injuries. Most cases are due to aging, but some people develop cataracts as early as in their 40s. Since the disease progresses gradually and painlessly, it is difficult to notice the onset of the disease. If you notice that your vision has deteriorated, it is possible that you have developed cataracts.

Frequently Asked Questions about Cataract Day Surgery
Here are some of the questions and answers we frequently receive from patients regarding cataract day surgery.
-
Do I have to have surgery as soon as I get cataracts? If the disease does not interfere with daily life, there is no need for immediate surgery. In the very early stages, progression can be slowed with eye drops.
-
Can cataracts be treated with eye drops alone?Eye drops alone will not eliminate the clouding of the lens. If you know you have a cataract, see an ophthalmologist regularly for an examination.
-
What type of surgery do you perform? The surgery itself takes about 10 to 20 minutes, but it takes about 2 to 3 hours including preparation before the surgery and explanation afterward.
-
Will there be pain during or after surgery?Since anesthesia is administered through eye drops, there will be little or no pain. Please be assured that you will rarely experience severe pain after the anesthesia wears off.
